If you didn't make it out ot Couryard 280 on February 9th, then you missed a good one. Thanks to all the friends and longtime fans that came out to enjoy a great night with the oldies! Streetkar's next outing will be February 29th in Selma Al.
Did you ever wonder how Streekar came to be? Check out the Streetkar History page.
A Special Thank You from Streekar. The Streetkar Band would like to thank everyone who helped us have such a great year in 2007. We have played 29 jobs this year and had blast at every one of them. We want to thank all of the Brides who booked us for their weddings, as well as all of the corporations that had us entertain them at their special events. We would also like to thank the loyal fan following that we have enjoyed over the years. Even though we don't perform at that many public venues anymore, it's always nice to see the familiar faces that show up when we do. Especially our old classmates from Minor High School. Like the ones that showed up at Courtyard 280's Grand Re-opening back in the summer! A special thanks to the groups that booked us for their Christmas parties this year: Morgan-Stanley on December 7th at Work Play. Timberline Country Club on the 8th. The UAB Cardiac Unit at Park Lane on the 14th. On New Year's Eve we will be playing for the membership at The Club. Thanks again to everyone, and we look forward to keeping this website updated with more current info and pictures of the band. |

In case you didn't know, Streetkar singer James Clark has a solo CD available, and you can purchase this CD at CDBABY. This really is a great music album and features some of the best session players in the Birmingham area!
